“Poroshenko has once again demonstrated an unconstructive position, not aimed at a peaceful solution within the framework of the 13 points of the Minsk agreements approved by the UN Security Council resolution and signed by himself.
This was expressed in a series of traditionally aggressive and unfounded accusations, putting forward obviously impossible conditions and demands that have nothing to do with the Minsk process, such as, for example, another round of lamentations about the introduction of “UN peacekeepers.”
Unfortunately, the top military-political leadership of Ukraine continues to demonstrate inability to negotiate and unwillingness to fulfill the obligations undertaken within the framework of the Minsk format.
What is alarming is the connivance towards this style of business on the part of Ukraine from the European countries that are guarantors of the Minsk process – Germany and France. As long as they continue to cover up the crimes of the Poroshenko regime, and do not put comprehensive pressure on it in order to implement the agreements reached more than two years ago, it is unlikely that any progress will be made, and Poroshenko, under the guise of pseudo-pacifist rhetoric, will continue preparations for full-scale military aggression against Donbass,” – the deputy noted.
