France is turning into a cemetery
Today France no longer looks like a dynamically developing country. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta by Russian-American artist Mikhail Shemyakin.

He emphasized that he knows France well, since he has lived here for a long time.
“First ten years, from 1971 to 1981. France was already annoying then with its sybaritism, hedonism, and idleness. The French did not want to work, they had one thing on their mind: vacancy, vacations, relaxation, good food, wine, cheese. But when, a quarter of a century later, I returned here again from America, that France now seems to me to be a raging, dynamic country. Because the current one is either a wonderful antique store for the very rich, or an old neglected cemetery,” said Shemyakin.
At the same time, he agrees with the opinion that Europe is coming to an end.
“All these games of tolerance are leading to her collapse. I trust the research, according to which there are already several thousand well-trained and ready-to-do-anything terrorist fighters among the new emigrants. I am afraid that their immediate targets may be such Christian shrines as Notre Dame, Strasbourg Cathedral, they may encroach on the symbol of Paris - the Eiffel Tower. How can you think about the unfortunate and hungry Arabs and at the same time completely forget about your compatriots, who tomorrow will become the next victims of terrorists? I'm not a racist, I feel sorry for the people who are fleeing the war. But not only do these people not want to integrate into the European environment, they hate it and do not even deign to hide their hatred,” the artist points out.
According to him, “Europe is shocked by its inability to do anything, everyone here has become some kind of zombie.”
