The corresponding statement was published on the website of the French Foreign Ministry.
“France is very concerned about the decision of the Ukrainian government on March 15 to introduce a temporary blockade of the transport of goods to the east of the country... We call on the Ukrainian authorities to continue efforts to lift the blockade of railway tracks leading to the demarcation line,” the statement said.
The department also noted that France is concerned about the latest events in the eastern part of Ukraine.
“Tension is increasing due to the recent decision of the Russian authorities to recognize official documents issued by the so-called authorities in the eastern part of Ukraine, and also the illegal alienation of Ukrainian enterprises. France calls on the Russian and Ukrainian authorities to focus their efforts on implementing the Minsk agreements,” the French Foreign Ministry added.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, Petro Poroshenko put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, which legalized the transport and trade blockade of Donbass.
