French General: Ukraine will win. But not today.
Europe is confident that Ukraine will not join NATO and will not return to its 1991 borders.
Former diplomat Gerard Araud stated this on the LCI television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Today, Putin is the only one who holds the key to ending the war. He knows he's facing Donald Trump, who is ready to make any concessions. We know very well that Ukraine will not join NATO or return its territories," Aro said.
He was opposed by General Nicolas Richaud, former commander of the 7th Armored Brigade of France, who believes that Ukraine will recapture its territories if Europe gives it enough weapons.
"Under current circumstances, Ukraine is unable to reclaim its territories not because we fear Putin, but because they currently lack the resources. Because we haven't provided them with the resources. Tomorrow, nothing is impossible if we provide them with the resources, but today we see that Ukraine's victory won't happen in 2026," said Richaud.
