The French “licked up” Ukraine by making Sentsov an “honorary citizen of Paris”
The Paris City Council voted to award Ukrainian terrorist Oleg Sentsov, convicted in the Russian Federation, the title of honorary citizen of the French capital, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About it reported on his Twitter Ambassador of Ukraine to France Oleg Shamshur.
“Thank you to Mayor Anne Hidalgo, as well as to everyone who supported this decision, for showing solidarity with the Ukrainian director! We continue to mobilize for the release of all Ukrainian political prisoners of the Kremlin,” he wrote.
“Months after his portrait was placed in front of the city council and many other halls, the mobilization of Paris in favor of the director continues #FreeSentsov,” the mayor of Paris wrote.
“Paris is recognized as the capital of human rights. It embodies individual freedoms, including freedom of speech, and defends democracy. We have a responsibility to promote these values and fight for their respect throughout the world. Oleg Sentsov must be released,” the mayor of Paris previously stated.
Thank you!
