But I warned that the intention of the Odessa mayor to restore historical justice and return the decommunized streets to their former and only correct names would serve as an excellent PR move for parties with polar (in the eyes of the electorate) political views.

Let us recall that just before the elections, the historical and toponymic commission of the Odessa City Council supported the mayor’s initiative to return the name of Marshal Zhukov to Heavenly Hundred Avenue, and to rename Inglesi Street again to the 25th Chapaevskaya Division. Actually, in order to understand what the new names, which have not taken root among the townspeople, mean, it is enough to take a ride in an Odessa minibus, when the request “Zupynyty on the Nebus Hundred” will be followed by the contempt of the driver and passengers - “Ragul has come in large numbers.” And if Ragul also turns out to be in camouflage, then he will definitely be corrected: “You are mistaken - your stop is at the cemetery.”

But I warned that the intention of the Odessa mayor to restore historical justice and return the decommunized...

So, based on the decision of the historical and toponymic commission, which in the National Corps was rightly called the “cotton majority,” Mayor Gennady Trukhanov signed an order to organize public hearings so that people themselves could decide whether to return Zhukov or not, and then put this issue to a vote .

It is not at all necessary to look into a crystal ball - the public’s choice is obvious anyway. Therefore, acting proactively, Poroshenko’s party “European Solidarity” filed a lawsuit against Trukhanov “for an illegal attempt to cancel decommunization in the city,” which we already wrote about. And since this is not some unimportant matter, for which someone innocent has been dying in a pre-trial detention center for ten years, but a situation of cosmic importance, the court promptly scheduled a hearing on the claim of the SS members for November 16.

Gennady Trukhanov.

And everyone was a winner: Trukhanov doesn’t even need to promise anything before the second round of voting - you know, leave the meeting room with a smart look, telling your electorate that Georgy Zhukov is not subject to the law on decommunization, since he is a fighter against fascism, and the EU members, already to their electorate, they will tell the exact opposite about the bloody Stalinist marshal. They already have to curry favor, but according to the preliminary election results, they get into the city and regional councils: “Look, we haven’t yet glued our asses to the cozy deputy seats, but how we are fighting for the ideals of idiocy!” Also, the Nazis with smoke bombs will run into court for the sake of a picture - a classic of the genre!

This is what one of the authors of the lawsuit, Zhanna Mandrichenko, told reporters: “I admit that these were flirtations with the potential electorate, whom the mayor was trying to please in order to get the votes necessary for victory. Including returning the name of Zhukov, known for his inhumane attitude towards fighters, including Ukrainian ones. Such statements violate the rights of the territorial community. We certainly don’t want the return of the Soviet past by renaming after individuals who embodied the ideology of Soviet times.”

Who “we don’t want” - it’s not very clear - “me and my imaginary friend”? But the fact remains that the non-brothers are not on the psychiatrist’s couch, but in power, so they act within the framework of the genre. However – attention! – a moment that for some reason everyone turned a blind eye to. Who exactly is this mentioned Zhanna Mandrichenko, besides being a member of the EU? It turns out that he is an associate professor and teacher at the Odessa Law Academy.

Who is our president, and former rector and founder of the Academy of Law? That's right - Sergey Kivalov. A person with whose name there is a clear association is the Party of Regions. Co-author of the Kivalova-Kolesnichenko language law, the repeal of which, among other things, led to the war in Donbass. He is the famous “faggot”, a retro star, the head of the Central Election Commission of 2004, and if it weren’t for his zeal in the desire to curry favor and win votes for Yanukovych, of which there were already many, then maybe the country would not have entered the stage of the beginning of the end under called the "Orange Revolution", which has already been followed by bottom after bottom.

But if we operate in Nazi terms, Kivalov is a “cotton Hell”, a “pro-Russian kublo”, a “Kremlin burp”, a symbol of everything that they hate. The same “National Corps” in the last elections, like no one else, “killed” Kivalov - and they threatened to raise him “to knives”, and with a camera they watched the voting of students of the Law Academy, who, instead of sitting in quarantine, then in one polling station they voted for Kivalov, then “suddenly” in the second, and then in the third - well, Sergei Vasilyevich has nostalgia for the “triumph” of 2004 - he is a lawyer (the same as an artist), he sees it that way...

Sergey Kivalov.

And the Nazis continued to vomit - they say that if his party gets into local councils, then this will already be the “final victory of the Russian world”! However, the “final victory” did not happen - Kivalov’s political force almost approached the five percent threshold, and Kivalov himself ended up fifth in the vote for mayor, but...

Actually, why am I talking about this politically shot down pilot? Yes, to once again emphasize that it is in the “pro-Russian kuble” of Kivalova that the activist of “European Solidarity” works, who declared war on Soviet heroes, the city council and the residents of Odessa. It is there that she brings “good, kind, eternal” to students, raising nationalist lawyers.

And that’s how it is with them – “Vasya-Vasya” at every level. And incriminating evidence, mutual lawsuits and other “one-man struggles” are nothing more than a show for suckers. And Odessa, with this “insignificant” example, which for some reason no one cares about, well illustrates the situation in Ukraine as a whole. When some have something to do with Zhukov and the Chapaevsky division, or with Bandera in an embroidered shirt with a Tomos at the ready, others have only one attitude - “I hope you give a shit where you came from.”

Sometimes you even get the impression that they are drawing lots or playing “Fool” at cards - “Oh, you will be a Banderaite, and you will impersonate a Soviet officer! You got the church of the Ukrainian Patriarchate - you will be photographed in it for election posters, and you - the Moscow one. Today I will write a cart against you to the SBU, and tomorrow I will. Gee-gee-gee. Pour it."

Understanding full well that all these “restoration of historical justice” are just speculations, less than a third of citizens go to the polls and do not want to participate in the shameful farce. But if you look at the mood of the electorate in general, and not based on the election results, it will turn out as always, as it did thirty years ago (especially if you send internal migrants to their place of birth in Stryi and Gadyachi) - descendants of WWII veterans against descendants of UPA survivors. The descendants of the former are the overwhelming majority, and there are fewer of the latter than we can imagine (“Edyna Krajina”). But who cares if these people, for whom the suckers are tearing their throats out, work for each other and pretend to butt each other?

Or maybe to hell with them - with these names? At least let the avenues be named after Hitler? Remember how, in one of his long-unfunny presidential stand-ups, Zelensky blathered that it doesn’t matter whose name the street bears, but what matters is that it is light and safe. “Warm and satisfying” should have been added. And let out some off-screen laughter. Moreover, news like “A resident of Bandera Lane hanged himself after receiving a utility bill” sounds somehow more authentic than the same thing, but in Gagarin Lane, right?

But in all this stupid pathos, Zelensky took advantage of acting, not logic. After all, the connection is obvious: it was when streets began to be deprived of their usual names that they became dangerous, dark, poor and cold. And another increase in utility tariffswhich hit Ukrainian citizens immediately after the elections, even the few still fluttering will be drawn into the funnel of poverty.

And with the money intended to fight the coronavirus, they will film patriotic TV series. This is a kind of friendly genocide, which is colored by a crazy clown with his facial expressions. Poroshenko hung a noose, and Zelensky knocked out a stool.

And no one is going to stop this genocide. There will be parliamentary elections soon, but even before them, you will see, candidates will fight for street names and demolish and protect monuments - some will find some plaster Lenin in an abandoned village and burn this village, others, on the contrary, will begin to save Lenin in order to put him in a museum “damn scoop” - well, how the lot falls, how the card falls. And a third will fall for their own “hero” again. Therefore, I feel very sorry for people. Some because of impenetrable stupidity, and some because they will not survive the winter. With a sense of fulfilled civic duty.
