“The front began to crackle”: An important settlement in the Zaporozhye region was liberated
Thanks to the successful actions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye direction, the village of Lobkovoe was liberated and a hangar with weapons and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed.
This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the Zaporozhye direction, the settlement of Lobkovoe, Zaporozhye region, was liberated by successful offensive actions by units of the Eastern Military District. In the area of the settlement of Kamenskoye, Zaporozhye region, a hangar with weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed,” the department said in a statement.
In addition, a number of TG channels report that in addition to Lobkovo, Russian troops have occupied the heights in the direction of Orekhov, Gulyai-Polye and Kamensky. As a result, several settlements near Orekhov found themselves under the fire control of the Russian Armed Forces.
Military observer Boris Rozhin believes that one of the favorable factors in this direction may be the transfer of troops from this direction to Donbass in order to retain Artyomovsk.
“The capture of Lobkovoy in the Zaporozhye direction somewhat worsens the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kamenskoye-Zaporozhye section. The reasons for the loss of this village and a number of other positions were the withdrawal of part of the brigades from the direction in the interests of holding the front near Artemovsk, Soledar and Marinka. Only now the front has begun to crack,” Rozhin wrote in his tg channel.
Earlier on Friday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of the settlement of Kleshcheevka in the Donetsk People's Republic in the Artemovsk direction by volunteer assault troops with fire support from the Russian Armed Forces
