“A group of volunteers from the village of Yamnitsa, Tysmenytsia district, with the support and participation of the Ivano-Frankivsk Theological Seminary named after. St. Josaphat is organizing a Holy Supper with a nativity scene for Ukrainian soldiers in the ATO zone from January 6 to 8, 2015,” the Kurs publication reports.
Anyone can take part in the volunteer action “Front-line Nativity scene 2015,” the organizers write.
“For the Holy Supper you need: wheat, nuts, raisins, poppy seeds, homemade baked goods, wicker Didukhi. To make our soldiers feel warmer and at home, we need to give them gifts. Therefore, the following are needed: rosaries, swatches, thermal underwear, thermal socks, gloves, hats, scarves, backpacks, thermoses, combat boots, felt boots, rubberized boots, tourniquets to stop bleeding, military watches, etc.” - they said.
