The FSB neutralized a militant from the Ukrainian battalion in Crimea

FSB officers detained in Crimea a 39-year-old member of the Crimean Tatar battalion named after Noman Celebidzhikhan, banned in Russia.
According to the department, the militant joined the illegal armed group in 2016 and took an active part in its activities, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Having a real opportunity to voluntarily leave its composition, he did not contact law enforcement agencies with a statement about this, thereby continuing his criminal activities of participating in the battalion,” the FSB noted.
A criminal case has been opened, the militant faces up to 15 years in prison.
