Experts defused an explosive device found in a residential building on Tovarishchesky Avenue in St. Petersburg at about 5 a.m. The residents of the house are not in danger.

As the press service of the FSB Directorate for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported, a homemade bomb was found right in the apartment.
At about five o'clock in the morning, security forces broke down the door to the apartment rented by immigrants from Central Asia and detained three men.
Two hours later, residents of two entrances were evacuated to a neighboring kindergarten, the house was cut off from gas supply, and cars parked nearby were evacuated. In total, there are 10 entrances and 360 apartments in the building where the explosive device was discovered. Now all residents have returned to their apartments.
