The FSB caught a Ukrainian spy in Crimea - he worked on instructions from Kravchuk
The FSB in Crimea detained Russian citizen V.L. Esipenko on charges of intelligence and subversive activities in the interests of the Ukrainian special services.
“The specified citizen carried out photo and video recording of the area, life support facilities and places of mass presence of people on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. In order to exclude the conduct of Esipenko V.L. subversive actions in the interests of the Ukrainian special services, he was detained, and during the examination of his personal car, an object with external signs of an improvised explosive device was discovered and seized.
According to the detainee V.L. Esipenko he collected the above information in the interests of the special services of Ukraine on the instructions of the active reserve officer of the 8th department of the 5th department of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Colonel V.A. Kravchuk, and, on his recommendation, kept the improvised explosive device in the car to ensure his own safety.
In relation to Esipenko V.L. a criminal case has been initiated,” the FSB said in a statement.
