Russia is behaving unacceptably passively in the doping scandal, World Athletics Champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, TV presenter Yolanda Chen said at a press conference in Moscow.

“We should have worked ahead earlier. The lethargy of our leaders is depressing. This is slander against our state, against our intelligence services. I believe that the head of the FSB should have spoken. They are accused of a crime, but they do not react. Why are we retreating? There's a wall behind. You need to snap back and react,” Chen said.
The athlete believes that Russia should initiate a review of the rules of the International Olympic Committee and involve global pharmaceutical companies as independent experts.
Regarding the initiators of the doping scandal, she said: “People are either under the influence of strong drugs or feel like they are in a movie. They have an obsession with the constant presence of intelligence agencies. From my own sports experience, I can say: taking doping tests is a very complicated organized procedure. It's not easy to replace something there. “I, of course, believe in our intelligence services, but I think that even they cannot do this.”
