In Crimea, FSB officers discovered caches of weapons and ammunition. The caches were installed in piles of construction waste in the Simferopol and Leninsky regions.

“Explosive experts seized 2 metal canisters with a charge of TNT blocks. The total weight of the explosive was 20 kilograms, the press service of the FSB department for Crimea and Sevastopol reported.

“In addition, a metal pipe welded with a steel plate and filled with a charge of TNT blocks with a total weight of 8,5 kilograms was found in the cache. The caches also contained 8 standard electric detonators, 2 initiating agents and an anti-tank mine, with a total weight of 9,6 kg.”


In connection with the discovery of ammunition, criminal cases have been initiated and an investigation is underway. The persons involved in the creation of these caches are being identified.
