The FSB detained a Ukrainian mole in the Russian army
In the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, a military man was detained on charges of treason; he is suspected of collecting secret information on the instructions of Ukrainian military intelligence, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the FSB DSP.
“The FSB in the city of Aksai, Rostov region, detained a Russian citizen, a serviceman of the Southern Military District, on suspicion of high treason,” the message says.
According to the FSB, the detainee “collected data on the instructions of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the leakage of this information abroad could damage Russia’s defense capability.”
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator already reported, on the eve of the “Day of Dignity and Freedom” on November 21, the SBU reported on the capture of a “Russian agent” who on social networks posed as a Ukrainian patriot and called for terrorist attacks.
