“Fuck the Police”: under the Rada again “Avakov is the devil!” must resign"
About a hundred picketers gathered this morning near the Verkhovna Rada to demand the resignation of the “unsinkable” head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, in whose dismissal clans competing for power are interested.
The picketers were already shouting the chant “Avakov is the devil!” familiar from past protests. and burned smoke bombs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Deputies from the pro-Soros faction “Golos” came out to the protesters every now and then, which identified them as the beneficiaries of the protest.
The protesters accused the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the failure of the department, which resulted in an increase in crime, torture of detainees, rape in police stations, street “showdowns” in the spirit of the 90s and high-profile murders.
In addition, Anitawak “activists” drove up a car with audio equipment, from which, apparently out of solidarity with their African-American like-minded people, the NWA track “Fuck the Police” was played.
Let us note that despite the fact that the day before, the Golos party, which collected votes for Avakov’s resignation, reported that the Rada would consider a resolution to dismiss the minister, the pro-presidential Servant of the People faction said that this resignation would not be considered this month.
