Footballer Dmitry Bulykin was allowed to participate in the State Duma elections
Ex-footballer Dmitry Bulykin officially became a candidate in the State Duma elections as part of the federal list of the Rodina party.
Let us recall that Bulykin’s road to the upcoming elections turned out to be thorny, to put it mildly. The ex-football player came under the hammers of the Central Executive Committee and was removed from the upcoming fight for a seat in the State Duma, allegedly because of his foreign shares. However, Bulykin defended his rights in court.
“We are interested in having candidates registered,” commented the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova. – We act in strict accordance with the law, and if we are forced to make a decision to refuse registration, we often recommend going to court, since the court has more powers. We are glad that the court decision allowed us to register this candidate.”
In total, there are 281 people on the Rodina federal list.
