T-shirts with the inscription “ATO” did not help Dynamo-Kyiv football players
The football club “Dynamo” (Kiev) evades paying the military tax in full, thereby refusing to support the Ukrainian army, but at the same time, the players of the capital’s club take to the field in T-shirts with the inscription “ATO”, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was stated by officer of the 95th airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Artemov during a press conference of ATO veterans on the topic “Non-payment of military fees as an anti-Ukrainian position of football functionaries in Ukraine.”
“We have been at war for 4 years, where civilians, children, and soldiers are dying. Patriots who go to war, they go for their Motherland. We also fought for this, wanting us to live better.
I will say that 2014-2015 were very difficult years (for the military - ed.), then there were more losses, many of my friends died, who left behind children,” he said.
According to him, the state introduced a military tax of 1,5% to support the army. But even such insignificant deductions in the capital's Dynamo club are not paid in full.
“We have collected information from official sources, and it is very contradictory. We have nothing against Dynamo, it is our brand and pride, but we raised this information - we were offended. And while we help, volunteers, the state, football players (Dynamo) wear embroidered T-shirts (with the inscription ATO - ed.), But giving this 1,5% of your salary (for the needs of the army - ed.) is For some reason it’s a problem for them,” Artemov noted.
“ATO veterans” compared the taxes paid by FC Dynamo and Shakhtar. We are talking about a military levy, the amounts of deductions of which differ by more than 30 times, not in favor of the Kyiv club.
