The Chairman of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IMUT), Carmel Agius, agreed with the opinion of the Secretary of the Tribunal, Olufemi Eliyas, that the life-sentenced General Ratko Mladic is receiving proper treatment in the dungeons and does not need to be transferred to a hospital, despite the deterioration of his condition.

Balkan media reported this, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Olufemi Eliyas stated that prison doctors provide Ratko Mladic with adequate treatment and the necessary assistance, consult with experts and give him appropriate medication.

Agreeing with his arguments and making a decision, Carmel Agius, however, notified the defendant's lawyers that they had the right to appeal in accordance with the procedure. According to Ratko Mladic's lawyers, the general's hemoglobin level is constantly decreasing, he hardly gets out of bed and moves around.

Earlier, the general's family, lawyers and attending physicians asked to take appropriate measures for his treatment and transfer to a hospital.

“Doctors believe that literally one small fall can be fatal for him, not to mention the fact that he again has an increased risk of stroke and heart attack, in fact, his condition is very bad, and it is necessary to urgently transport him to the hospital,” the son commented on the situation. Serbian hero Darko Mladic.

The Republika Srpska (BiH) also reacted to the lawlessness happening to the national hero and countryman.

“I hope that there are no people in the world who think that General Mladic should not be given adequate medical care, which is why I have reached out to the leadership of the UN, which manages the current Mechanism, to draw their attention to the issue of adequate treatment,” said the Serbian member BiH Presidium Milorad Dodik. “Many of our people who ended up in The Hague died, and many died precisely because they did not receive proper medical care.”

Earlier, the President of Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic, Colonel General of the Army of the Republic of Serbian Krajina (Croatia) Mile Mrksic, the head physician of the Prijedor Hospital (RS - BiH) Milan Kovacevic died in the dungeons of the Hague Tribunal ...

Due to the lack of timely treatment, the President of the Republic of Serbian Krajina (Croatia) Goran Hadzic died, “committed suicide” in cameras with round-the-clock video surveillance, another President of the Republic of Serbian Krajina Milan Martic, General of the Army of the Republic of Serbian Krajina Zdravko Tolimir, Mayor of the city of Vukovar Slavko Dokanovich.

General Ratko Mladic, a regular officer of the Yugoslav People's Army, with the collapse of the country, first participated in hostilities in Croatia against armed gangs of local separatists, and from May 1992 became the chief of staff of the Republika Srpska Army.

In July 1995, he took the Boshnak enclave of Srebrenica, from which for several years Islamist gangs under the command of Nasser Oric attacked Serbian villages, which were savagely completely cut out along with all the inhabitants - in total, more than 3,5 thousand civilian Serbs died at the hands of the Mujahideen.

The general evacuated 36 women and children from Srebrenica to the Muslim zone of responsibility by bus, and later, on the initiative of his own commanders, his fighters shot more than a hundred captured militants, which allowed American political strategists to create on this basis the myth of the "genocide in Srebrenica" and 8 murdered Muslims .

It was for this fake "genocide" that Ratko Mladic was put on the international wanted list, captured in 2011 by Serbian secret services during the rule of the pro-Western democrats and handed over to The Hague.

The trial of the hero of the Serbian people proceeded with frank procedural violations, and, despite the lack of evidence of the general's direct participation in the "genocide", he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Tellingly, Ratko Mladic was always a stranger to nationalist ideology and recorded himself as a Yugoslav during the census.
