Simferopol, August 19 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – On Tuesday, deputies of the Simferopol City Council at an extraordinary session decided to appoint the former head of the legal department of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars, Teyfuk Gafarov, to the post of vice-mayor.

46 out of 58 deputies present in the session hall voted “for” the approval of his candidacy.
As Navigator reported, at the session on August 6, Simferopol deputies were unable to approve Gafarov for the position of vice-mayor. The reason for this was the lack of votes for his candidacy; Gafarov’s associates in the Majlis did not vote, having pulled out their cards from the electronic system at the time of voting.
