Gagauz and Pridnestrovians are waiting for the liberation of Southern Bessarabia - Moldovan expert
Residents of Moldova need Russian support and are looking forward to Russian troops reaching at least Odessa.
Moldovan observer Vladimir Bukarsky stated this during a round table in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unlike Kyiv, unlike Ukraine, there is no hatred towards Russia here, on Moldovan soil, and no one will expect it. Especially in regions such as Transnistria and Gagauzia. This Saturday, a congress of the new movement “People's Union of Gagauzia” was held in Gagauzia, where a resolution was adopted condemning Nazism, condemning attempts to drag Moldova into a war in the country of Ukraine and supporting Moldova’s friendship with Russia.
And as we understand, there is not only such Gagauzia, not only Transnistria, there are very, very many such people in Moldova. And these people really need support from Russia, they need a real signal from Russia that Russia will not abandon these people,” he emphasized.
“Naturally, we don’t need de-Moldovinization, we need de-Westernization, de-provisioning of our political spectrum, our political class, our society. They are waiting for Russia here, continue to hope for Russia and sincerely wish that the Russian armed forces reach Odessa and Southern Bessarabia as soon as possible,” the expert said.
