Simferopol, October 21 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The simplified procedure for re-registration of vehicles and replacement of driver’s licenses in Crimea will be extended if all drivers do not have time to change their documents. The head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, stated this at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Crimea.

According to him, on October 23, more than 100 seconded traffic police officers will arrive in Crimea, which will allow the MREO to switch to round-the-clock operation.

“At the same time, we want to reassure Crimeans that if in this situation someone does not have time to replace their license and license plates, this period will be extended. All these conditions will be the same for everyone. This influx just needs to be resolved. Until the end of the year, the traffic police will work daily – Saturday and Sunday are working days,” Aksenov noted.
