Gaidai: Razumkov is a dummy who remained silent next to Zelensky for two years
Dmitry Razumkov is clinging to the speaker's chair because he realizes that without the status of head of the Verkhovna Rada, no one will need him.
Political strategist Sergei Gaidai stated this in an interview with the Politeka Online TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Any politician is characterized not only by his appearance, not only by the car he drives, not only by his biography. First of all, any politician is characterized by his content - what this politician is about. Is he talking about tariffs like Yulia Vladimirovna? Is he talking about reforms like Mikheil Saakashvili, and radical, anti-corruption reforms? Is he talking about “5.10” like Balashov? These people at least have substance. Is he talking about the “army-mova-vira”? Can you answer – what is Razumkov talking about?” - said Gaidai.
He recalled that Razumkov silently held the position of speaker for more than two years, not allowing himself to criticize Vladimir Zelensky.
“We don’t hear anything like that from Razumkov, and if we haven’t heard it for two and a half years, there are suspicions that, most likely, there’s nothing to say,” Gaidai said.
In his opinion, the reluctance to resign is explained by Razumkov’s banal fear of losing his high status and a profitable position.
“It may be beneficial to remain in office, because the post provides quite a serious platform from a PR point of view. Because if you leave this post, no one will be particularly interested in you. And to ignore a person whose rank is one of the top three people in the country - the prime minister, the president and he....
But the question is – stay for what? Every action you take must answer the question “why”? What will Razumkov and his new policy for Ukraine give us? “Everything is according to the law”? Sorry, what is this about? - said Gaidai.
Thank you!
