This was announced by the head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, at a press conference following the meeting of the company’s shareholders.
“The price for Ukraine according to the price formula under the contract that was signed in 2009 is $167 for the third quarter,” Miller said.
In addition, Gazprom issued a preliminary invoice to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine for gas supplies.
“In order to restore supplies, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine must only make an advance payment. “Gazprom is guaranteed to supply our Ukrainian colleagues with as much gas as is paid for,” Miller noted.
Let us recall that earlier the former Minister of Energy of Ukraine Vladimir Demchishin called the price for Russian gas “fair” in the amount of just over $200 per 1 thousand cubic meters.
