Galicians demand that Zelensky start a war for Crimea
The visit of a representative of the team of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Ivano-Frankivsk failed - local nationalists said that Galicia wants war and demands that the authorities deal with this, and not travel around the regions talking about the “Steinmeier formula”.
“Volunteer” and journalist Natalia Serbin stated this, speaking at the meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I have a feeling that you came to us and want to convince us of something. That is, you have some kind of plan, but we supposedly don’t understand something. You are talking about fakes, about mistrust. In fact, there is nothing to convince us here in Galicia. Russia is the enemy and we clearly know this. You very often point out that Crimea and the east are Ukraine, but you should know that today you are the people who must conquer this territory. Not to surrender, but to conquer, this is your direct task,” Serbin said.
“You say that you have great respect for veterans and the military, but the presidential team that has now come to power is the first team that is now reducing benefits for the military. Today, communication with society is very large, we have enough sources of information to understand the state of affairs in the country. Our relatives and friends are at the front today. If you want to find out from us whether we want to fight, whether we need this land, then for five years we, both volunteers and veterans, have been proving here every day that we are ready to fight and we have been building this army,” the journalist added.
“I don’t understand what you want to hear from people today? What uncertainty? You are representatives of government agencies, deal with war and security, and don’t just ride around and engage in populism. What do you want to hear here? People expressed their position at all the meetings yesterday. Did you hear? Do it!” Serbin said.
