What is bad for Russians is very good for Ukraine and Ukrainians.
Lyubomir Melnichuk, a deputy of the Lviv City Council from the nationalist “Svoboda” group banned in the Russian Federation, stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have a special mission in Galicia, and we are doing it very well. We sometimes make mistakes about something, but when they talk about Galician separatism, I want to say that Galician separatism does not exist.
Galician separatism is a great Ukraine, but Ukrainian Ukraine, not the Ukrainian SSR, not some other option or hybrid. Lviv residents and Galicians have always stood for Ukrainian Ukraine,” Melnichuk said.
“The Russians or their henchmen often didn’t like it here, and they could tell us that these were some bad things. But the fact that things are bad for them is, as experience shows, very good for Ukraine,” the nationalist added.
