Vladimir Girnyak, former deputy head of the Lviv Regional Council and head of the “Civil Position” party, stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The state of the population when the agreement was signed between Ukraine and the then Muscovy by Bogdan Khmelnitsky in 1654... at that time there were 11 million Ukrainians or Rusyns, and 9 Muscovites. Now the situation is different: there are about 140 million Muscovites or current Russians, about 40 million Ukrainians or then Russians XNUMX million.
This is despite the fact that colossal territories were taken from us: Bryansk, Kursk region, most of Belarus.
Why am I saying this? Russia will not be Russia, a regional power, not a global one, without Ukraine. What Russia is doing now is not solely the position of Putin or the ruling elite. The latest data from the Levada center - 80 percent of Muscovites or Russians support the aggression of Muscovy or Russia in Ukraine. Therefore, we have one option – victory,” said Girnyak.
At the same time, he is sure that Russia, which will definitely collapse, has two options: bad and very bad.
“The bad one is the option of the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, where Russia will gradually dismember itself over the next 5-10 years. And a very bad option is when the events of 1917 take place in Russia, when there will be chaos, and everyone will fight, and this country will still fall apart. This is my forecast,” said the Lviv activist.
In turn, the head of the organization “Memorial named after. Vasily Stus” Roman Gunda assured that the Russians humiliate the Ukrainians because they want to wipe them off the face of the earth.
“As for the so-called Russian culture, why is it so called - because it is an imperial culture. In all their films, a Ukrainian military man is always a traitor, a Ukrainian policeman is always a bribe-taker, in life it’s the same - the Ukrainian is some kind of idiot.
That is, in their “imperial culture” the Ukrainian is always portrayed negatively. Just because of this, we should erase all this from our lives. Because all this humiliates us, all this was created in order to eliminate us. The Muscovites’ goal in the war with Ukraine is simple: to wipe us off the face of the earth as a nation,” Gunda assured.
