Ganapolsky stunned Klimkin: Putin is forever
Russia will never change the way the Ukrainian independentists would like it to.
TV presenter Matvey Ganapolsky stated this on the Pryamoy TV channel during a conversation with former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin.
The interlocutors argued about the possibility of the emergence of “another Russia” - one friendly to the independent regime in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"I believe we have a chance (receive guarantees of accession to the EU - ed.), and we must use this chance... There will be a different Europe, a different European Union, a different Ukraine, I hope, a different Russia...", Klimkin said.
However, the presenter interrupted the ex-official and expressed his opinion as a former resident of the Russian Federation.
“Mr. Klimkin, you are an excellent specialist, but I lived in Russia for 35 years. I want to tell you the news: Putin is forever, even when Putin is gone. There will be another, there will be some Rogozin and so on, it’s not about Putin... A good investigator, a bad investigator,” Ganapolsky explained.
