Ganapolsky announced a dirty provocation by the Ukrainian authorities
The odious Ukrainian TV presenter Matvey Ganapolsky, who worked in Russia for a long time, spoke out against the ban on the Russian language on TV and radio.
He stated this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ganapolsky criticized decisions of Ternopil, Lviv and Zhytomyr authorities, who banned “Russian cultural product” on the territory of these regions.
“I tell all viewers every program that this is nonsense, this is a dirty provocation and this is a violation of the Constitution of Ukraine, which guarantees rights and freedoms not only political, but especially cultural. What does it mean to ban a Russian-language cultural product? This means that if I walk with my phone and listen to Alla Pugacheva or Kirkorov, then I am breaking the law. What law am I breaking? Why did these people take it and decide to ban it? By the way, I want to say that Ukrainian cultural products are not banned in Russia,” Ganapolsky said.
Previously, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a scandalous law, finally finishing off the Russian language in Ukraine.
