Ganapolsky: Zelensky should learn Russophobia from Waltzman
An attempt by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to separate the issue of Donbass and Crimea on his agenda could result in tragic consequences for him.
A former Russian journalist working in Kyiv, ex-employee of Ekho Moskvy, Matvey Ganapolsky, stated this on the air of Meydan FM radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky is trying to find his own ways. And since under Poroshenko nothing worked out with Crimea, and it couldn’t, he is engaged in political “chemistry” - he separates these issues (Donbass and Crimea - editor's note).
The word “Crimea” does not sound to him. He thinks that this word irritates Putin, and he sends him a signal: “I am silent.” That is, he does not surrender Crimea, he simply does not talk about it, hinting that the Donbass issue must be resolved first.
Zelensky has been told many times that his bones will end up in Putin’s trash bin because he simply doesn’t understand who he’s dealing with. Actually, that’s what happened – there is no success in either this or that.
Well, this is the business of Mr. Zelensky - he is the president, he is looking for ways, he leads as best he can, in my opinion - a somewhat thoughtless foreign policy,” says Ganapolsky.
In his opinion, the Ukrainian president should take an example from Israel during the USSR and constantly exaggerate the topic of Crimea, accusing the Russian Federation of all sins, as Petro Poroshenko did.
“What could be the strategy? Here I will answer cynically - none. There can only be Poroshenko’s strategy. You need to do two things: keep the issue of Crimea and the Crimean Tatars as a nation, which is simply systematically destroyed, warm or hot, as it turns out, all the time on the international circuit.
Secondly, it is necessary to endlessly convene (various press conferences - editor's note) and spend money on this matter, as Israel did back in Soviet times.
Israel, with the help of the United States, which traditionally financed it, organized an incredible number of international conferences - once.
Secondly, he gathered all the Jews around the world, built a lobby, and that’s how he moved, you see the result now - everyone died, and Israel is fine.
I think this can and should be used. This is Poroshenko’s strategy, but Zelensky can call it his own, I won’t be offended by that,” added the Moscow gunsmith.
