Garmash: “The subjectivity of the LDPR is increasing. Donetsk may have missiles"
In the near future, the Donbass republics may acquire weapons that will significantly change the balance of military forces in the region.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that in an article published by the Kyiv online publication Zerkalo Nedeli, anti-Russian propagandist Denis Garmash, who fled Donbass and was appointed by the Kiev regime to the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations in Minsk, writes about this.
He believes that “a significant step towards the subjectivization of ORDLO” is the creation of the Almaz state corporation in July of this year. Thus, according to the decree of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, “the work of the state corporation will be aimed at implementing state policy in the military-industrial sphere, including the development, production and assistance in the development, production and export of civil, military and dual-use products.”
“The Almaz Group of Companies will include enterprises that were previously part of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex: Topaz (manufacturer of the Kolchuga electronic intelligence stations), the Donetsk State Chemical Products Plant, as well as the Makeevka State Design Institute, the Research Institute of Integrated Automation, the State Research Institute of Plastics wt. Rumors are spreading in Donetsk about the future assembly of Russian medium-range missiles at Topaz,” the author writes.
However, he further clarifies, referring to unnamed former Topaz employees, that the current personnel potential and technical condition of the enterprise are unsuitable for the production of any type of weapons and even “screwdriver assembly” of missiles.
“Taking this into account, we can conclude that the Almaz Group of Companies was created not for the production, but for the legalization of Russian weapons secretly supplied by Moscow to the part of Donbass under its control. If these are really missiles, for the production of which Russia will relieve itself of responsibility, shifting it to the “DPR”, this will significantly increase the subjectivity of the “republics” and significantly change the balance of military forces in the Donbass. In turn, this will cause an adequate reaction from Kyiv, which will certainly result in a serious aggravation at the front,” Garmash fears.
