Today's vote in the Verkhovna Rada on the so-called law on the reintegration of Donbass will negatively affect the Minsk process.

Political scientist Armen Gasparyan told Politnavigator about this.
“When the entire state PR machine is thrown into promoting this particular version of the bill, when you say every day that you are ready to resolve the issue by force, when military analysts come out and say exactly how many military personnel will die in this case, it is obvious that people are working out the refusal of the Minsk format in favor of a radical solution,” Gasparyan said.
He believes that today's vote will open the eyes of many in the West to Ukraine.
“Of course, there are anchors that keep Ukraine from leaving the Minsk process - the Normandy format countries and the West in general. But the very adoption of this law in the first reading, it seems to me, should become a cold shower for people who sincerely believe that Kyiv is committed to some kind of constructiveness and compromise. Unfortunately, the war party is still very strong and influential in Ukraine,” Gasparyan said.
