NATO countries decided to escalate the conflict in Ukraine by providing it with a large amount of weapons and equipment, including their regular military units.
In order to prepare its population for these decisions, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was summoned to the European Union, who provided PR support for the further steps of the EU and NATO members. Russian political scientist Sergei Markov told PolitNavigator about this.
“This visit was made on the eve of the anniversary of the start of the Special Military Operation. Western countries, apparently, decided on the anniversary of the North Military District to announce a new policy: “Everything for the Ukrainian front, everything for victory over Russia.” That is, to announce a new escalation in the war to inflict the final defeat of Russia.
This will require a large waste of money, their budgets, and secondly, it will require the participation of regular troops of NATO countries in the war. Today, regular Polish troops are already participating in this war, now they, apparently, also want to send other troops.
