The head of the Kyiv-controlled part of the Donetsk region, Pavel Zhebrivsky, said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The problem is also with the courts. The head of the so-called Supreme Court of the so-called DPR was acquitted by a court in the Donetsk region. Now we cannot bring him to criminal responsibility. First, the prosecutor's office must file an appeal and the appellate court must find that this decision was illegal, and only then can we apply criminal law to this judge. And he continues to carry out legal proceedings today. We can't even remove him. I think in this part it is very important to make the legislation that concerns separatism more stringent,” Zhebrivsky said.
