The head of the Donetsk military-civil administration, Pavel Zhebrivsky, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to him, Ukraine in this case would “squeeze” Donbass for itself.
“If, in fact, normal elections had taken place, and Putin had not become president, then at least on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions the madness that is happening, that is, the war that is taking place on the territory of Ukraine, would end. And then, I think that we would have sorted out Crimea,” Zhebrivsky said.
