The Gauleiter of Kharkov lost touch with the General Staff and reality

In the “fog of war”, Kharkov residents have their own sources of information about the progress of battles and the positions of troops in the region. Sometimes direct, from acquaintances and relatives who finally got in touch, sometimes indirect, but allowing certain conclusions to be drawn.

Before the start of the special operation, fresh food was regularly delivered to one of the courtyards of one of the central districts. The entrepreneur transported milk, sour cream, vegetables, and meat from a village located on the road to Stary Saltov.

After the outbreak of hostilities, residents were deprived of inexpensive and high-quality supplies. And then on May 16, the yard began to buzz: the car had arrived! The joy, for many, was overshadowed by the conclusion: it means it’s true – the Russians have really moved away from Kharkov...

The punctual driver arrived at the same time, minute after minute. And when on May 25 he was half an hour late, the courtyard became agitated. We rushed to call and found out: on the way from Kharkov to the village, the driver was turned away at a checkpoint in Kutuzovka (18 km from the Kharkov main post office). Reason: no further, heavy fighting.

So, from real life events and available Russian sources, Kharkov residents are trying to put together a picture of what is happening.

As a rule, information from the Ukrainian side should be taken “exactly the opposite.” If a message appears that “Russians” fired at such and such a populated area (not a factory, a railway junction or a specific building, but a city or village, at a residential area), this means that allied troops are there, and they fired from MLRS and mortars from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Thus, on May 25, the Ukrainian media, following the Kharkov regional military administration, reported the shelling of the city of Balakleya:

“Russian troops shelled the captured town of Balakleya in the Kharkov region, according to preliminary data, two people were killed and seven more were injured, including one child in the house. The girl is in extremely serious condition."

Let us remind you that Balakleya has been under the control of the Russian Armed Forces since March 28. Why would the Russians shoot at a city liberated from the Nazis?

“The Russian occupiers are staging provocations in order to accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine of crimes against the civilian population,” explained the KhOVA.

Let us note that there is no evidence for this absurd version, but traces of shelling in the Shevchenkovsky district of Kharkov on the morning of May 23 eloquently indicate that the fire was fired from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
However, not by provocations alone. The Ukrainian military often shells “their” cities and towns for purely commercial purposes.

Residents of the prestigious villages of Rodich and Florovka near Kharkov talk about precisely such cases. The Nazis installed beacons on previously robbed houses, and then fired guns at them from remote positions.

In recent days, the tone of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation in the north of the region has changed somewhat. They have not yet recognized the loss of control over Ternova, but they are clearly preparing society for another loss.

“In the Kharkov direction, the Russian military is concentrating its main efforts on holding occupied positions; in the Ternovaya area there was an attempt to conduct offensive actions...”, the department informs.

Gyauleiter Sinegubov, apparently, has lost touch with both the General Staff and reality. He resides somewhere in a parallel universe, in which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still conducting a counter-offensive:

“We see that our troops are moving the invaders as far as possible from the city, but there is still a great danger of attacks specifically on Kharkov.”

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Ukrainian positions near Ternova, dramatic events are unfolding. Militants from the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces recorded an appeal to Zelensky with a complaint against militants from the 227th Kharkov defense battalion. The same “guys” whom the Ukrainian president sincerely thanked for access to the Russian border. As it turned out later, with its own portable border post.

“These people refused to come and replace us, and for five days we stood to the death under hail, tanks, and hurricanes. These are just tik-tok troops, Mr. President,” the Ukrainian military man brands his “brothers.”

And this is also first-hand information, eloquently demonstrating the level of mutual assistance, unity and coherence of actions in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
