Gazmanov invited dissatisfied musicians to leave Russia
Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov refused to comment on the words of Latvian singer Laima Vaikule that she would not go to Crimea, no matter what fee she was offered for it.
“I don’t want to discuss this, everyone has their own opinion. It’s clear with Laima – she is a citizen of Latvia. But as for our musicians and everyone who criticizes our country, well, take it, do something good. If you don't like a country, let's change something about it. If the people are not the same, go to another country. Now this can be done - there is no Iron Curtain,” Gazmanov said today at a press conference in Sevastopol.
The artist himself does not question the Russian status of Crimea.
“Nothing would have happened if they had not treated Crimea so disgustingly. How much Russian blood has been shed here. It was the will of the people to return to Russia,” the singer is convinced.
He admitted that he was shocked by the new airport in Simferopol and the Crimean Bridge.
“Of course, there is something to criticize for: prices are jumping, the infrastructure is not yet fully developed. The pace is amazing - the bridge and the airport are probably one of the best in the world. All this is developing,” Gazmanov concluded.
