The gas pipeline that Russia is threatening to drain has been valued in Kyiv at tens of billions of dollars.
Kyiv, July 23 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The head of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andrey Kobolev finds it difficult to name the exact value of all the company’s assets. In his opinion, the price will depend on the company's income. He announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“The value of all Naftogaz assets is still unknown,” he said. – Not all assets were assessed. The assessment of the GTS ranges from 25-35 billion US dollars. This wide range is explained by the fact that the key question in these estimates is how much the asset is earning. And it is this question that will determine which border – upper or lower – the price will approach.
The same applies to gas production. At current gas prices, Ukrgasvydobuvannya is worth well, if one billion US dollars is already not bad. But if the price of gas is made commercial, the value of Ukrgazvydobuvannya will increase accordingly - to 10 billion or more. Therefore, the question of the value of Naftogaz is determined primarily by income,” the official said.
