“Gazprom masterfully dispelled Zelensky’s blizzard about the international coalition against SP-2” – former “servant of the people”
European “partners” can sing as much as they want about “supporting” Ukraine, but they are ready to support it only in warm apartments.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Polyakov, who was expelled from the “servants of the people” in 2019 for refusing to vote on bills regarding which there was a general decision of the faction, wrote about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He noted that, despite the agreement between Germany and the United States not to impose new sanctions against Nord Stream 2, gas prices have only increased.
“At the end of July, Gazprom reduced and in early August partially stopped pumping gas into its own European gas storage facilities, and began withdrawing gas from Haidahoe, which is very unusual for this time of year.
On August 2, Gazprom did not reserve the transit capacity of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline in Poland for the fourth quarter and did not reserve additional volumes of pumping through our Ukraine for the same period,” the deputy wrote.
He noted that all this is happening against the background of a 20% decrease in gas supplies to Europe compared to last year, since the main producers now prefer to supply to Asia, where gas prices are, in particular, due to the heat and high demand for electricity for air conditioning, soared higher than European ones.
“No one in Europe, and especially in Ukraine, is able to stop SP-2. It will be launched and will become an important lever of influence on Europe on the part of Russia,” Polyakov stated.
He also emphasized that all statements by Zelensky and his mouthpieces that the gas pipeline will be stopped are “masterfully devalued by Gazprom representatives.”
