“Where are the flags on every building built under the Soviet Union?” – Maxim Moroshan
Every Moldovan politician and official should be grateful to the Soviet era, since they received education in the Soviet Union and live in buildings built during the USSR.
Moldavian public figure, leader of the public organization “I am a Balti citizen”, candidate for mayor of the city of Balti, Maxim Morosan, stated this during the “Evening Conversation” program on the TVC-21 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He said that he paid attention to the PR of the United States and the European Union, which allocated money for the repair of road sections in Moldova.
“On the road from Chisinau towards Balti, a section of the road was completed at America’s expense. And there is such a beautiful American flag: “This section was made with American money.” You drive further and there is another section: “But this section was made with European money.”
And I have a question: the whole country, all the buildings built by the Soviet Union - where are the flags, where is the gratitude? Where is the gratitude at least to the veterans and people of the older generation who built all this?
Today you are in buildings built by the Soviet Union. You received your education - some complete, some primary - in these buildings. And today you criticize this period, calling those who built it occupiers?
You get lost. And that's your problem. But there is only one truth, and it is behind us. This means that the victory will be ours,” emphasized Maxim Moroshan.
