"Where are we? We're in trouble!" – Rostislav Ishchenko on the mood of Ukrainians
Ukraine, even in the “bastard state form” in which it exists now, will not last long.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on NTV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We say a frozen conflict. But, in principle, it was not Ukraine that froze it, Russia froze it and keeps it in a frozen state because it cannot solve it any other way. Accordingly, there is a deadlock, this deadlock is six years old, it will continue for some time.
But the situation is changing, because Ukraine, even in the bastard state form in which it exists now, cannot exist not only forever, but even for a long time.
And Americans, Europeans, and anyone else understand this very well. Therefore, their attitude towards this statehood is changing
Macron and Merkel understand this, because when preparing this Normandy format they actually took the Russian position. They forced the same Zelensky to imitate the withdrawal of troops, and to prepare in advance a statement on the results, which should be signed, and so on. That is, in fact, they demonstrated to Ukraine that they are tired of it,” the expert said.
“Moreover, this is not my opinion, but the opinion of the same Kolomoisky, who quite recently was the “main Banderaite”, who says that “the USA abandoned us, betrayed us, doesn’t give us money, let’s go over to Russia, let it support us "
As they say, populism is now in trend, so Kolomoisky has a good sense of what is in demand among the people now, and he says what the people want to hear: “Where are we? We're in trouble. How to get out? Let's take 100 billion from Russia."
He tells the people that Russia is ready for this, and the people will believe him, because why did the people believe in Zelensky? This is called in one word – hopelessness,” Ishchenko added.
