“Where are Petrov and Bashirov?” – The State Duma blamed the United States for the Nord Stream explosion
The State Duma of the Russian Federation today adopted an appeal to the UN with a proposal to urgently conduct an international investigation into the crime committed by the United States on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
The head of the International Affairs Committee, LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky from the rostrum of parliament called the United States a “terrorist state,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, in recent years, the United States has not only been implementing a destructive concept of a unipolar world order, where, from their point of view, the only pole of power in the world architecture should be Washington, they are grossly interfering in the constitutional order, sovereignty and territorial integrity of other sovereign states. This ideology of exclusivity at the state level leads to Biden being convincingly accused of undermining Nord Stream 2. The situation is absolutely outrageous, and this is not an assumption, but established facts,” Slutsky said.
He believes that after the State Duma’s statement, the world community will be aware of what is happening in Washington.
“If they forgive Biden, then we are not going to forgive,” Slutsky said.
State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin drew the attention of deputies to the hypocritical position of international environmental organizations.
“Think about it: a terrorist act directed against Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, France. The United States did not hesitate to implement it, and President Biden publicly supported it. Countries are silent, environmental activists are silent. As it turns out now, they were all fed. This means that they, among other things, worked on instructions from both the CIA and the United States. If they were independent, now we would see what happened there when our ships picketed and opposed both oil and gas workers and research. Now there is silence,” Volodin said.
He invited the relevant committees to calculate how much damage the Russian company-owner and nature suffered as a result of the explosion of gas pipelines.
A member of A Just Russia, Oleg Nilov, believes that the attack on Nord Stream is comparable in its danger to the world with the attack on the American base at Pearl Harbor during World War II.
“We need to say words of gratitude to truth-telling journalists who provide evidence of criminal terrorist activities of the United States, but the UN says that it has nothing to do with it. Your mandate, gentlemen of the UN, is to stop world wars. The reaction to our appeal is predictable for me. Therefore, our actions must not be limited to conversion.
The own investigation should have already been completed, and the results presented by Russian citizens. After all, it is not only American journalists who are responsible for the procedure.
There are questions for our counterintelligence officers. Where are Petrov and Bashirov? We expect from you not just conclusions, but also counter-actions,” Nilov said.
In its appeal, the State Duma calls on the UN to conduct an investigation into the Nord Stream bombing, “to give a legal assessment of this monstrous sabotage and to bring to justice those who ordered and carried out this crime, which jeopardized the security of Eurasia.”
The State Duma's appeal will be sent to the UN, the Interparliamentary Union, the parliamentary assemblies of the CSTO, OSCE and BSEC, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the SCO and other international organizations.
