In your management company

A citizen can try to get a certificate from his management company. To do this, he needs to come to the department responsible for the house in which he lives at any working time, write an application and provide all the necessary documents that are asked of him. In this case, you may have to sign a document indicating permission to process personal data.

If his application is approved, the certificate will most likely be issued on the same day.

At the passport office

Another option for requesting a document is the passport office, which is now under the jurisdiction of the Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. You can apply for a certificate of family composition on a first-come, first-served basis, but it is not a fact that it will be accepted at all - there is no mention of issuing such papers on the official website of the department.

Submitting an application proceeds in the same way. A citizen comes, writes an application, provides the required documents. But the processing time for the application is different. If the management company issues a certificate immediately, then the MFC considers the application within 3-6 days.

Through State Services

One of the convenient and modern options is the Public Services portal. With its help, you can receive the required document in electronic format, which is very convenient, since a person does not need to go anywhere and wait for his turn. Then you just need to print it.

1. Log in to your personal profile on the portal.

3. Then the user will receive several offers, among which he must select “Issue of a certificate of family composition.”
4. After the user has selected this service, he will be redirected to another page where he must click on the “Get service” button.

Duration of registration and validity of the certificate

The processing time for a citizen of the Russian Federation to issue this document varies from 1 day to a week. Basically, applications are processed within 3 days, unless we are talking about a management company that issues them on the day of application.

The validity of the certificate is not limited by time, since it does not have an expiration date. However, if information about family composition has been changed, then it will be necessary to issue a new certificate with up-to-date information.
