Ukrainian political expert Mikhail Pavliv made such a warning at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He emphasized that the Ukrainian media and the Ministry of Information Policy, together with their apologists, seriously exaggerate the importance of the General Assembly for Ukraine.
“I believe that any speculation about the deprivation of the veto right of the Russian Federation or any fundamental fateful decisions that may be announced at the General Assembly, or any kind of public connection between the Syrian and Ukrainian issues are inappropriate - all this will not happen,” the political scientist is convinced. – On the sidelines of the General Assembly, a meeting may take place, even more than one, related to the Ukrainian issue. But without a doubt, the Ukrainian issue will not be in first, second, or even third place. There is no need to follow the not very clean information policy that our government is trying to pursue.”
