Скандал, Ukraine

Ukraine has been cooperating with the DPRK for 14 years, and the technology for creating a launch vehicle could have been transferred from Ukraine through China. Yuzhmash General Director Sergei Voit told pranksters Vovan and Lexus about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The pranksters called him on behalf of the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, Alexander Turchynov, and asked who could transfer Ukrainian technologies to the Koreans.

Voight, in turn, said that no one could have stolen the secrets of Yuzhmash and blamed the Yuzhnoye design bureau, which could also be involved in the leak.

“We have all this documentation on all our cases that we are talking to. We have “Cyclone 2”, it is still in department 3, so you understand, it is secret. We hardly work with anyone, we just started there with Korea on little things. Our KBYU has been working with Korea for more than 14 years, with China for more than 20 years, I don’t know what they are doing there. This information does not reach us. The SBU knows about this, the SVR knows about this, the KBYU knows about this. We don't go there, to be honest. We have never dealt with this, they work with them on all these matters. Maybe something could have gone through China, I think so...

They could have given China there, they are helping China in developing engines, or something else, yes, we understand this perfectly well, China could have given something there. But the design bureau itself could not give it there. Only China could find out what and how we are doing, I do not exclude this. But the fact that our design bureau went all the way there, to Korea, is impossible. Who would let them in there? But, through China - yes, it’s possible. It’s possible,” Voight said.

In addition, Voight said that Russia may also be to blame for the leak, since some of the missiles and documentation remained in the Russian Federation after the collapse of the USSR.

“What was left, well, ammunition, as we say... This is “Cyclone 2” - these are the ones that stood for ammunition, there are, in my opinion, four of them left in Russia. I managed to take three out, we have them now, and they have four of them somewhere... Well, today I can’t imagine how it could have gotten there. No way. It could only have come through our neighbor. They are the developers of this documentation,” the general director of Yuzhmash tried to turn the tables.

The pranksters also reported the “news” that President Poroshenko allegedly decided to sell Yuzhmash to American businessman Elon Musk, the founder of the space technology company SpaceX.

“Yes, well, well, let’s corporatize first,” Voight answered with sadness in his voice.
