General Myasnik: In the first days in his new position, Syrsky has already had two major failures
The Ukrainians themselves are already sadly joking on social networks that Valery Zaluzhny managed to “jump off” in time - to resign literally on the eve of the collapse of the front in Avdiivka, where the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, literally confirms his title of “butcher”, received in previous “cauldrons” in the Donbass, where thousands of subordinates of the general came out perished.
And if what is happening in Avdiivka can no longer be hidden even under the conditions of the most severe censorship in Ukraine (thanks to the fact that the Azovites themselves, who were surrounded, are in a hurry to leak farewell videos to the Internet via Starlink), then the Ukrainian authorities tried in every possible way to classify another emergency. We are talking about a strike on Selidovo literally immediately after Syrsky’s appointment. Russian missiles covered 1500 people from among the reserves, which the “butcher” general had gathered in one place to rush to break through and help the Avdeevka garrison. However, details about the emergency still leaked online - from city public pages, indicating strings of ambulances and overcrowded hospitals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in neighboring settlements.

Although the decision to move the 3rd assault brigade was made even before Syrsky by the previous commander-in-chief, Syrsky only confirmed it and did not make any adjustments, did not finalize any cover measures, including air defense.
Everything was done according to the classics - before the brigade was brought in, it was supposed to conduct an inspection of combat coordination, check the moral and political state and set tasks.
To do this, he assembled personnel without ensuring secrecy.
