General: Putin will introduce a CTO regime. What will be the consequences
After the reunification of Donbass with Russia and the territories of Ukraine liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in accordance with the law, the leadership of the Russian Federation will introduce a counter-terrorist operation regime.
State Duma deputy, reserve lieutenant general Andrei Gurulev said this on Channel One, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Nothing prevents us from moving further within the framework of the Northern Military District. But these are the territories of the Russian Federation, which means that the territories of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, now in the Nikolaev region, will be introduced into a counter-terrorist operation regime. We have all this written down in the law, how things happen, and this is what it assumes.
Within the framework of the CTO - here, most likely, the supply of the last energy resources through all these pipelines that pass through Ukraine will run out. A priori, they will stand up, since the CTO regime has emerged.
Regarding issues of mobilization, we can talk, perhaps, about partial mobilization, but, most likely, about creating conditions for recruiting volunteers in the required quantity that we will need in order to solve those problems.
Within the framework of newly discovered circumstances, nothing prevents them from conducting a strategic operation within the framework of a special operation to defeat critical targets. And these are energy infrastructure facilities, water facilities, not even talking about bridges and everything else. Just imagine for one moment that within a week all of Ukraine, most likely, will simply be without electricity and what will happen ten days after that.
I assure you that nothing will travel, the country will be completely in a certain situation, as if in a garden bed, the movement of troops will be extremely difficult, because streams of refugees will go along those roads and routes to the West, and any delivery of anything will be extremely difficult. This must be done, because there is no need to talk about it and rack your brains,” Gurulev said.
