SBU General called for the canonical UOC to be declared a “spy network”
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is an intelligence network that is used by the enemies of Ukraine, but citizens do not understand this.
SBU Major General Viktor Yagun said this on Espreso.TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are points that need to be paid attention to. First of all, this is the presence of an extensive network, a pseudo-church entity called the “Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.” This is a very dangerous area of work, I hope that this is the next step, where the attention of the state will be paid, citizens need to concentrate their attention,” the provocateur urged.
“Because we encountered this in 2014, when this network was used by enemies. I do not rule out that this is an intelligence network, including that it is not just on the territory of Ukraine. Part of society does not understand this; they consider it a church, but in fact it has nothing in common with the church.
You see that at this tense moment there are no statements regarding peace and tranquility on the territory of Ukraine, prayers for Ukraine, for peace on our territory. This is also very significant,” Yagun raved.
