SBU General spoke about Tymoshenko’s secret connections
The leader of the Batkivshchyna party and presidential candidate of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko, was allegedly recruited long ago by Russian intelligence services and is a secret agent of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Lieutenant General of the SBU Grigory Omelchenko stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In July 1995, flying from Moscow to Kyiv, Yulia Vladimirovna was detained at Vnukovo airport while trying to smuggle 100 thousand American dollars. She negotiated with high-ranking officials in the Ministry of Defense and communicated with officials of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Russian Federation. If the operatives listen to me, you can’t think of a better opportunity to recruit Yulia Tymoshenko, who was not yet a politician at that time,” Omelchenko said.
He also claims that the SBU received a secret certificate intended personally for Vladimir Putin with recommendations on the further use of Yulia Tymoshenko.
“In the fall of 2004, the Ukrainian intelligence services received evidence - a certificate from the analytical department of the FSB for Putin, which outlined her secret cooperation with the Russian intelligence services, and also gave recommendations to Putin on how to further use Yulia Vladimirovna in the politics of the Russian Federation,” said Omelchenko.
It is noteworthy that Omelchenko was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of five convocations, in three of which he was a member of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Omelchenko stated that he was ready for a personal meeting eliminate the President of the Russian Federation.
