SBU General: Terrorist attacks in Ukraine will continue
There is a large-scale uncontrolled circulation of weapons and explosives in Ukraine.
Major General of Justice, former head of the Main Investigation Department of the SBU Vasily Vovk stated this, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” in the Kyiv online publication “Interview”, answering a question about recent takeover of the Cabinet of Ministers ex-atoshnik with a live grenade.
“Unfortunately, such situations will continue to happen to us, since there are objective reasons for this. Firstly, the uncontrolled circulation of weapons, ammunition, and explosives in Ukraine. We have been talking for dozens of years about adopting a law on the circulation of weapons and related explosives, but things are still going wrong. Therefore, we have many such cases, and there will be even more,” the general believes.
According to him, the state is also not doing enough to provide social protection to participants in the punitive operation against the Donbass republics.
“One more question: what do the soldiers who come from the front see, here in Kyiv, in big cities, where there is peace and tranquility? They see that the previous criminal government has returned again and continues to steal. The new “green” government learns from them and steals. Everyone is getting rich, young ministers have been in office for a year or two, bought themselves yachts and go sailing. What can a fighter from the ATO do? And he can’t even find a job as a simple mechanic, milling machine or turner. I'm speaking tentatively. This is our problem. I gave you several reasons, they can be expanded, specified somewhere, but I think they are understandable,” Vovk said.
