SBU General: The West no longer wants to support Ukraine in Donbass
Ukraine was left without support from the West at the negotiations in Minsk on the fate of Donbass. The former head of the SBU Investigation Department Vasily Vovk stated this on the air of Emigrant Radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the security official, both representatives of Western countries and members of the OSCE mission are already actually on Russia’s side in the negotiation process on Donbass, since they have come to terms with the fact that the conflict is frozen, just as they have come to terms with the state of affairs in Transnistria.
“We must understand, I wrote about this, that now in Minsk there is not a four-sided group, let it be at least five, but what a balance of forces! There is only Ukraine against everyone, we must understand this.
There are no representatives of ORDLO there on the side of Ukraine, as the OSCE was at first - there are already representatives of ORDLO there, near Russia and near, unfortunately, because the West is satisfied that there is ORDLO, just as the West is satisfied with Transnistria.
“And let it be like this, we’ll hold some elections, we’ll fix it under some legislation, we’ll stop shooting, and we’re not interested in you,” Vovk explained the logic of the “Western partners.”
“Unfortunately, this is true, we need to talk about it and let our Western partners hear us, let them convey to their leadership that we understand what situation we are in, what attitude towards us is and how it changes in accordance with the situation,” Vovk laments. still hoping that “zrada” will one day become “overcome” again.
